Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer in a full-time remote role, the candidate will manage the evolution of the organization's enterprise data platform, focusing on data standards, Snowflake platform maturity, and the migration of legacy data into a modern data ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and establish data standards and governance practices for the enterprise data platform
- Drive the maturity of the Snowflake platform and oversee the migration of legacy data assets
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to strengthen architectural foundations and engineering standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with SQL integration development and source code control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira
