Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of the organization's enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will drive Snowflake platform maturity, establish governance practices, and migrate legacy data assets in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Define data standards and strengthen architectural foundations for enterprise analytics and reporting
- Lead the migration of legacy data assets into a scalable and governed data ecosystem
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement large-scale data projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with SQL integration development and source code control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira
