Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of the organization's enterprise data platform strategy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to define data standards, drive Snowflake platform maturity, and complete the migration of legacy data assets into a scalable data ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement data governance and metadata practices to enhance data quality and accessibility
- Drive the modernization of legacy data assets and establish architectural foundations for enterprise analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data integration solutions and ingestion patterns
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience, preferably in software development
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira
