Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build scalable data pipelines and models, enhance data reliability and efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable batch and real-time streaming pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows across multiple business lines
• Design dimensional models and reusable datasets while performing complex data analysis to validate business rules and identify trends
• Own the reliability and efficiency of data solutions by automating quality checks, monitoring performance, and participating in on-call rotations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including data warehousing and ETL/ELT development
• Advanced SQL skills for writing, tuning, and debugging complex queries
• Experience designing data lakes and warehouses on scalable platforms
• Strong dimensional modeling skills and sound data warehousing practices
• Ability to deliver projects with minimal guidance in an Agile team environment
