Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build and own the data infrastructure that powers a growing platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will architect, maintain, and enhance marketplace data systems while collaborating closely with Data and Product teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain the data infrastructure for reliable and scalable data movement and transformation
• Own the analytical schema in the data warehouse, ensuring accuracy and consistency for internal and customer-facing analytics
• Lead technical accountability for data systems, managing projects from design through production and iteration

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or marketplace environment
• Deep expertise in the modern data stack, including pipeline tooling, workflow orchestration, and BI tools
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for creating well-structured data models
• Experience with end-to-end data quality ownership, including testing and observability frameworks
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
