Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer will manage large-scale data platforms, ensuring performance and scalability while collaborating with data engineering and product teams to design and maintain reliable systems that support mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale data platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and alignment with business goals
- Support Redshift and PostgreSQL databases throughout their lifecycle, including new builds, upgrades, and retirements
- Collaborate with development teams to engineer next-generation products and manage high availability architectures and disaster recovery processes
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in an AWS cloud environment in a similar role
- Strong experience with complex Redshift deployments and hands-on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, specifically with Terraform
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in version control systems and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of data governance and experience with cloud data warehouse technologies and orchestration tools
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, or a related discipline preferred
