Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity initiative, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain critical data pipelines and infrastructure for a globally deployed data platform, focusing on Federal workloads while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain business-critical data pipelines, including data ingestion and AWS Glue/Spark jobs
• Operate core data infrastructure, including the data warehouse and BI/reporting platform across multiple regions
• Define and evolve data contracts and warehouse schemas, ensuring observability in pipelines and platform components

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, infrastructure engineering, or backend software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing (e.g., AWS Glue, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Fluent SQL and strong data-modeling skills, including designing schemas for a data warehouse
• US Citizen with the ability to gain and maintain a TS Security clearance
