Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will acquire, curate, and publish data for analytical and operational uses, ensuring data readiness for various consumers while working independently with diverse technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data products for varying client requests, including advanced data models and data flows
• Develop and maintain complex scalable data pipelines for both streaming and batch requirements, optimizing data for downstream reporting
• Translate business analytic requests into technical specifications, managing projects with multiple dependencies and delivering on complex timelines

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience in data engineering or a similar field
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and Informatica or similar data integration tools
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud environments
• Knowledge of data governance concepts and practices
