Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working fully remote, the Senior Data Engineer will build and maintain reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines, implement automated quality checks, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with clients and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across diverse data sources
- Develop automated validation and integrity checks to identify data issues early
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or backend engineering
- Advanced proficiency in at least one core language, preferably TypeScript/Node.js or Python
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills across relational and analytical data stores
- Experience building and operating data solutions on AWS
- Fluency working alongside AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Codex
