Job Summary
To strengthen data infrastructure and develop AI-powered tools, the part-time contract Senior Data & AI Engineer will assess existing data sources, build integrations, and collaborate with product leadership in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing data sources and build integrations connecting APIs, databases, and business applications
- Develop AI tools for research, information retrieval, and automation while ensuring quality and reliability
- Translate business requirements into technical milestones, delivering prototypes and deploying tools into production
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in APIs and cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience deploying AI applications used by teams or customers
- Practical understanding of data pipelines, relational databases, and secure credential management
- Ability to manage ambiguous business problems and deliver solutions in short cycles
