Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with the Data Services team to build and deliver transformed data, manage Airflow tasks, and develop dbt models while engaging with stakeholders to identify data-driven projects.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with business stakeholders to identify data-driven projects and opportunities
- Develop dbt models and manage Airflow tasks and scheduling
- Oversee team analysis to ensure data accuracy and provide mentorship to team members
Required qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering/data engineering
- Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Python, and relational databases
- Proven track record in building and optimizing data transformation pipelines
- Experience with a data exploration tool such as Looker or Mode
