Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer on the AirCover Data Foundation team, the full-time remote position will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, develop analytics-ready data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AirCover products and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for AirCover products and operations
• Develop high-quality, analytics-ready data models and metrics for executive reporting and operational workflows
• Collaborate with software engineers and external stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency across critical data assets

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or software engineering
• Strong experience designing and maintaining production-quality ETL or ELT pipelines
• Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed data processing technologies such as Spark
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with workflow orchestration or ETL scheduling frameworks such as Airflow
