Job Summary
To support a growing data engineering team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build infrastructure for data ingestion, transformation, and loading while developing CI/CD pipelines and anomaly detection systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build infrastructure for ingesting, transforming, and loading large volumes of data using Spark, SQL, AWS, and Databricks
- Develop an entity resolution framework to merge billions of individual entities into clean datasets
- Create CI/CD pipelines and anomaly detection systems to enhance data quality in production
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of industry experience with strategic technical problem-solving
- Strong software development fundamentals, particularly in Python and Apache Spark
- Experience building scalable data processing systems from the ground up
- Familiarity with developer-oriented data pipeline orchestration tools, preferably Airflow
- Knowledge of cloud computing services, particularly AWS
