Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will develop and implement analytics solutions, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data strategies and quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain fault-tolerant data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data into databases
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Analytics team to provide data in a ready-to-use format and identify trends in complex data sets
- Automate processes and optimize data delivery while contributing to the design and maintenance of scalable data warehouse solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) and managing large-scale databases
- Preferred experience in the property and casualty insurance industry
