Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable data products and pipelines, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and manage high-quality data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and modern engineering practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of trusted data for digital products and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable data pipelines and processing systems while integrating data from diverse sources
• Apply modern engineering practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements and participate in agile ceremonies

Required qualifications

• Strong proficiency in developing scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Python
• Hands-on experience with modern data engineering frameworks and tools, including Apache Spark and Kafka
• Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and data modeling principles
• Experience designing and developing batch and/or real-time streaming data solutions
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
