Job Summary
Designing and implementing data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will optimize data models and schemas while collaborating with data scientists and analysts to support analytical capabilities in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize data models and schemas for analytics, reporting, and machine learning
- Design and build ETL/ELT data pipelines to process and transform large datasets from multiple sources
- Establish data quality standards and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of applicable work experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in developing complex queries
- Experience in Python, specifically with ETL pipelines
- Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment
