Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the development of scalable data pipelines and reliable data products, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will leverage modern cloud technologies to enhance data quality and support critical business decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for data integration from various sources
• Develop and maintain dimensional and domain-oriented data models for analytics and operational use cases
• Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and implementing best practices for data governance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing and operating production data pipelines and platforms at scale
• Advanced SQL and strong Python skills with a focus on maintainable, production-quality code
• Deep experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of data modeling fundamentals and experience with transformation frameworks like dbt
• Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or Dagster
