Job Summary
Designing and operating reliable data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to model complex healthcare data, integrate legacy processes into a unified platform, and ensure data quality and automation across engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate automated data pipelines for health plan data
- Model complex healthcare data into clear canonical and analytical models
- Extend and integrate tools and workflows for cross-team adoption
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with production ownership of data pipelines
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with dbt and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
- Expertise in Snowflake and/or Databricks, along with Spark SQL experience
- Familiarity with data quality practices and CI/CD in data engineering
