Job Summary
To support a US-based EdTech client, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design scalable, maintainable data pipelines and models using Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow while working US East Coast office hours and being located in Latin America or Eastern Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Own complex technical projects with minimal direction
- Design scalable, maintainable, and well-documented data pipelines and models
- Drive technical initiatives from design through production, improving existing processes and identifying automation opportunities
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally 7 or more
- Robust experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and modern capabilities
- Solid experience building and maintaining ELT pipelines using dbt
- Experience orchestrating data workflows using Apache Airflow or a similar platform
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and analytics engineering best practices
