Job Summary
Focusing on AI-driven capabilities, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and evolve CloudBlue's data and analytics platform, creating scalable data infrastructure and embedding AI into backend services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a high-volume, high-performance data fabric, including real-time ingestion, data pipelines, storage, and analytics
- Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing and production
- Drive the adoption of AI across the platform and develop AI-powered workflows and capabilities
Required qualifications:
- Strong professional software engineering experience with a solid background in building data-intensive systems
- Extensive experience building data pipelines and data models, including production-scale data workloads
- Hands-on experience with Python and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar
- Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases
