Job Summary
Owning the design and delivery of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, the Senior Data Engineer will work hybrid in Los Angeles or remotely in the US, focusing on data quality, reliability, and mentorship while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance data systems.
Key responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Drives data quality, reliability, and performance across data systems
- Mentors engineers and collaborates with analytics, ML, software, and product teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of data engineering experience, including ownership of scalable pipelines and models
- Strong proficiency with SQL and a data-engineering language (e.g., Python), plus pipeline/orchestration tools
- Experience designing scalable data models and cloud data platforms (e.g., warehouse/lakehouse)
