Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Senior Data Engineer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Help define company data assets, design data integrations, and evaluate open source/vendor tools for data lineage
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and define/manage SLA for all data sets
- Design, build, and launch collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases across different products or domains
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years of Python or Java, C++, Scale development experience
- 7+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
- Experience designing, building and maintaining data processing systems
