Senior Data Engineer Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer Consultant for a W2 contract position, who will remotely design, build, and deploy scalable enterprise data products while ensuring disciplined delivery and end-to-end ownership.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support enterprise data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Python
- Build and optimize data products through scalable ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and quality practices
- Translate business requirements into production-ready solutions, implementing automated testing and CI/CD practices
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on data engineering experience delivering production-grade pipelines and enterprise data products
- Proficiency in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and medallion architecture
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Git and CI/CD
- Ability to work independently and manage technical risks with minimal supervision
