Senior Data Engineer - GCP Architect
Job Summary
Leading the modernization of legacy data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineer - GCP Architect will design and deliver cloud-native solutions using GCP and Databricks while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for enterprise reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain data orchestration frameworks using Apache Airflow and establish CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and security controls are in place
Required qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and large-scale data engineering initiatives
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT development, and data modeling
- Experience with Apache Airflow orchestration workflows and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, observability, and security frameworks
