Senior Data Engineer (North Carolina)
Job Summary
As a key liaison within the VBC Interoperability team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer (North Carolina) will work remotely to manage relationships with stakeholders, ensure data integrity, and design care gap integration solutions across Epic instances.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful integration and data management
- Design and execute EHR development tasks while aligning with integration and development team goals
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents and process flow diagrams for Epic instances
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment working with business stakeholders and technical teams, particularly in Risk or Quality
- 2+ years of Epic experience with certifications in Healthy Planet, Clarity, Caboodle, and/or SQL
- Hands-on experience with data integration methods and Epic data ingestion processes
- Experience implementing enterprise AI tools or automated workflow solutions
- Proven experience with clinical workflows and healthcare business processes related to risk and quality
