Senior Data Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the design of modern data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will define and drive the enterprise data warehouse strategy for healthcare data while managing teams remotely within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise data warehouse strategies and scalable data models for healthcare data
- Oversee ingestion and integration of diverse healthcare datasets, ensuring interoperability compliance
- Lead enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and collaborate with data science teams on predictive modeling and AI/ML use cases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in IT with a focus on data warehousing and analytics platforms; 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in the healthcare domain, including knowledge of claims, billing, and EHR/EMR systems
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data warehouse modernization or cloud migrations
- Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestration, with solid experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems
