Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Driving the end-to-end delivery of data architecture and pipeline solutions, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will create and optimize data and BI platforms while managing project plans, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring data quality and governance in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the delivery of data architecture and pipeline solutions, including planning, requirements-gathering, design, and testing
• Design and operationalize a data quality framework to ensure trust and consistency in data with proactive monitoring and root cause analysis
• Lead the planning and management of the BI platform (Tableau), ensuring optimal operations, performance, and security

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related technical field
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Spark, PySpark, and experience with ETL/data pipeline management
• Demonstrated experience managing Tableau infrastructure and operations
• Experience with version control and CI/CD workflows using platforms like Git or Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred; Master's degree preferred
