Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will create, manage, and optimize data engineering pipelines while partnering with stakeholders to drive requirements-gathering and define data solution architecture, with options for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of data architecture and pipeline solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs
• Lead sprint planning and operations, managing execution and tracking metrics for operational efficiency
• Design and operationalize a data quality framework to ensure trust and consistency in data across critical pipelines

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related technical field
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Spark, PySpark, and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience managing agile sprint operations and proficiency in project management tools like JIRA
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing ETLs and data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
