Senior Data Governance Manager

Job Summary

To support data governance initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Governance Manager will develop and implement policies, facilitate governance committees, and ensure compliance monitoring in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update data and AI governance policies and procedures to align with best practices and organizational needs
• Organize and lead governance committee meetings, fostering collaboration and effective decision-making among members
• Oversee compliance with data governance policies, providing guidance and conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Health Administration, Public Policy, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Data/AI governance, policy, and/or compliance
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance
• Experience with data governance tools and catalogs (preferred)
• DAMA - CDMP certification (preferred)
