Job Summary

Leading a team of data analysts, the full-time Senior Data Manager will drive proactive insights and strategic data partnerships while working remotely to enhance the analytics practice and support business decisions in a sports media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Data Analysts, contributing to high-stakes projects and modeling analytical rigor
• Shift the team's focus from reactive analytics to proactive strategic inquiry, translating data into actionable business recommendations
• Oversee product experimentation and measurement, ensuring rigorous definitions of success metrics and guardrails

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics or applied quantitative roles
• 1-3+ years of experience managing or mentoring data scientists or analysts
• Expertise in SQL and experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and data manipulation
• Strong background in experimentation and cohort modeling within a digital subscription or media environment
