Job Summary
Collaborating with data stewards, the full-time Senior Data Modeler will capture and certify data definitions, map data assets across various business domains, and improve existing metadata processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Work with data stewards to capture, validate, and certify business definitions and metadata
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to drive consensus on standardized terminology and resolve conflicts
- Improve and automate existing metadata intake processes, ensuring data quality and governance standards
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data stewardship and governance
- Proficiency with Databricks and Unity Catalog
- Strong skills in Python programming
- Experience with data mapping across business domains such as Finance, HR, and Marketing
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI/Tableau
