Job Summary
Leading the design and optimization of a cloud-based data platform, the full-time Senior Data Platform Architect will drive technical innovation and establish engineering best practices while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a cutting-edge cloud-based data platform ensuring data integrity, usability, and scalability
- Promote software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies and continuous integration
- Manage relationships in a matrixed environment to foster collaboration and ensure successful technology delivery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of industry experience as a data engineer or software engineer, with a focus on large datasets
- 5+ years of experience as a data solution architect designing solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- 10+ years of experience with cloud data warehouses or MPP databases
- 5+ years of experience developing microservices and APIs using REST or similar technologies
