Job Summary
Rebuilding the company's data pipeline from the ground up, the remote Senior Data Platform Engineer will modernize the platform and establish scalable solutions while developing integrations for APIs and managing AWS infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize legacy data pipelines, ensuring reliable ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
- Design and develop integrations for APIs, vendor file feeds, and external data sources
- Establish observability and operational standards for production data systems while leading data migration efforts
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building and supporting large-scale data platforms or data engineering environments
- Proven experience in re-architecting or modernizing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
- Advanced SQL and data warehousing expertise with platforms like Redshift or Snowflake
