Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To build and mature the merchant integration platform, the remote Senior Data Platform Engineer will design anti-corruption layers, enhance onboarding processes, and develop error reporting frameworks while leveraging AWS serverless technologies and event-driven architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Design mapping and transformation systems to ensure consistent downstream data delivery
- Develop tooling and standards for efficient merchant onboarding and migration
- Create frameworks for actionable error reporting to assist data providers and integration engineers
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering
- Deep expertise in AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda and DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience with event-driven systems like Kafka and fluency in Python and TypeScript
- Proven track record in building large-scale data platforms and integrations
- Experience in mentoring and fostering a collaborative work environment
