Senior Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a robust data infrastructure, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will define technical vision, lead cross-team initiatives, and architect systems for data ingestion and processing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and guide the technical vision for the DGX Cloud Data Platform, overseeing architecture and growth
- Lead the technical delivery of complex initiatives, transforming requirements into well-defined architectures and coordinating implementation
- Architect and implement batch and streaming systems for telemetry data across multiple environments and consumers
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is preferred
- Proven track record in crafting, implementing, and operating production software or data platforms
- Strong experience with distributed processing, analytical databases, and backend/cloud systems handling large data volumes
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including experience with schema evolution and cross-system correctness
- Demonstrated skill in diagnosing system failures and applying long-lasting solutions
