Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To build the shared data infrastructure for DGX Cloud, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will define technical vision, lead complex initiatives, and architect scalable data systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and guide the technical vision for the DGX Cloud Data Platform, ensuring architecture meets scale, reliability, and performance needs
• Lead the technical delivery of cross-team initiatives, transforming requirements into well-defined architectures and coordinating implementation
• Architect and implement batch and streaming systems for operational telemetry across multiple environments and consumers

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's or equivalent experience, and a Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in crafting and operating production software, data platforms, or distributed systems with end-to-end technical ownership
• Strong proficiency in backend or systems programming languages and experience with data-processing and platform libraries
• Expertise in SQL and data modeling, including experience with query execution and schema evolution
• Demonstrated skill in diagnosing system failures and applying long-lasting solutions through analysis of logs and metrics
