Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Data Platform Engineer, this role will manage the foundation of data-driven products for over 5,000 gyms, ensuring fast, trustworthy data, privacy, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance AI capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely data reporting for gym owners, maintaining data freshness and uptime
- Integrate product, payment, and third-party data to provide a comprehensive view of the customer journey
- Implement privacy and security measures to protect gym and member data while facilitating routine privacy requests
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform, or software engineering roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS or payments environment
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in cloud warehouse performance tuning and schema design
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster in a production setting
- Familiarity with real-time analytics databases and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Experience managing data ingestion tools and implementing data quality checks and alerting systems
