Senior Data Protection Analyst

Job Summary

To support the growth of Professional Services and Managed Services, the full-time Senior Data Protection Analyst will analyze data security incidents, investigate insider threats, and manage documentation and project aspects of incident response while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insights into DLP analytics and analyze event data to improve policies and incident alerts
• Refine datasets and policies as customers' data risk strategies evolve
• Conduct forensic analysis and prepare summaries and reports for internal teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data protection or adjacent security tools (EDR, SIEM, SOAR) and 2+ years in Insider Threat/InfoSec
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection best practices and incident mitigation workflows
• Experience with DLP, Insider Threat, CASB, and controls for handling sensitive data
• Proficiency across macOS, Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to use SQL for analysis, build dashboards, and edit XML-based DLP rules
