Job Summary
To advance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program maturity, the full-time Senior Data Protection Analyst will lead complex DLP initiatives, design and implement data protection strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of complex DLP solutions, including policy strategy and false positive reduction
- Develops and implements data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information across cloud and on-premises environments
- Provides mentorship and technical guidance to analysts, supporting skill development and consistency in DLP monitoring and investigations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Risk, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in data governance, data protection, or information security operations
- Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated data environments
- Advanced working knowledge of data classification, sensitivity, and secure data handling practices
- Experience mentoring or providing guidance to other analysts preferred
