Job Summary
To enhance the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, the full-time Senior Data Protection Analyst will lead the design and implementation of DLP solutions, develop data protection strategies, and provide mentorship to less experienced analysts in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of complex DLP solutions, including policy strategy and false positive reduction
- Develops and implements data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information across cloud and on-premises environments
- Partners with Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and IT stakeholders to align DLP controls with regulatory and business requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Risk, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in data governance, data protection, or information security operations
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated data environments
- Advanced knowledge of data classification, sensitivity, and secure data handling practices
- Experience mentoring or providing guidance to other analysts preferred
