Senior Data Science Manager

Job Summary

Leading the development of foundational AI capabilities, the remote Senior Data Science Manager will define the AI platform roadmap, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable production services.

Key responsibilities

• Build shared AI capabilities by developing reusable models, services, and tools for multiple teams
• Shape the platform roadmap by prioritizing foundational investments based on business value and technical dependencies
• Deliver production-ready systems through partnership with engineering on deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations of AI services

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• 3+ years of direct people management experience in leading data science or machine learning teams
• Experience delivering LLM-powered capabilities into production and managing their performance
• Strong experience in building and operating AI evaluations, including creating evaluation datasets and defining quality criteria
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
