Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Supporting the modernization of data analytics capabilities for a U.S. Navy aviation sustainment program, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will develop and deploy machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics solutions to transform data into actionable insights while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical learning models
• Develop NLP solutions to analyze unstructured data sources such as maintenance documentation and operational reports
• Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to operationalize AI/ML solutions within production environments

Required qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active/current Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data cleansing and analysis across large datasets
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and statistical learning models
