Job Summary
To support a growing data team, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will serve as a strategic analytics partner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define metrics, analyze data, and influence business decisions, with the option to work remotely within the US or Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner by identifying high-impact questions and determining success metrics across various teams
- Define meaningful metrics and measurement frameworks to track performance in areas such as engagement and retention
- Turn data into actionable strategies by diagnosing user patterns and identifying investment opportunities
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of analytics experience with a proven track record of influencing decisions in complex problem spaces
- Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries and exploring large datasets independently
- Experience with modern analytics tools such as Metabase, dbt, and BigQuery
- Proven ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools to enhance data analysis and modeling
