Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning sales forecasting and championing data-driven decision making, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will analyze sales trends, build predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations for revenue planning in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sales forecasting excellence by building statistical and machine learning models and contributing to self-service analytics tools
• Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including scoping, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Drive strategic business partnerships by translating model outputs into actionable recommendations for business leaders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data science role, with 3+ years focused on sales forecasting or revenue analytics, and a relevant graduate degree may count toward 2 of the 5 years
• Expert user of Python or R for data analysis tasks
• Expert knowledge of time series forecasting methods, such as ARIMA and LSTM
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis tasks
• Proven track record of developing and implementing machine learning pipelines in production environments
