Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning sales forecasting and driving data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will analyze sales trends, build predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations for revenue planning in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop sales forecasting excellence through statistical and machine learning models while contributing to self-service analytics tools
• Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including scoping, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for business leaders and mentor junior data scientists

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a data science role, with 3+ years focused on sales or demand forecasting
• Expert user of Python or R for data analysis tasks
• Expert knowledge of time series forecasting methods such as ARIMA and LSTM
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis
• Proven track record of developing machine learning pipelines in production environments like AWS SageMaker or Databricks
