Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a government client, the contract-based Senior Data Scientist will work remotely to design and implement machine learning and AI solutions, leveraging structured and unstructured data to address complex healthcare challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain machine learning and AI solutions for healthcare and business challenges
• Build and deploy end-to-end ML and AI pipelines on AWS for scalable operations
• Develop advanced NLP solutions and optimize enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems

Required qualifications

• Minimum of six years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree required, Master's or PhD preferred
• Experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and deep learning techniques
• Demonstrated experience with production AI systems, including Generative AI and RAG architectures
• Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries such as pandas and TensorFlow
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and MLOps tooling is preferred
