Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the Applied AI team, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will own core workstreams in utility bill data extraction, forecasting, and audit/anomaly detection, while collaborating with engineering partners and contributing to production-grade models in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of core workstreams, flexing priorities as needed
• Build, evaluate, and improve production models for data extraction and forecasting
• Set the technical approach for ambiguous problems and partner with the Director on workstream prioritization

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and evaluating production ML models
• Strong fundamentals in statistics, classification, regression, and evaluation methodology
• Fluency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy) and SQL
• Practical experience with LLMs or agentic workflows in production
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Statistics, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience
