Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote contract Senior Data Scientist will analyze complex data sets, develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable business solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex data sets to solve unstructured business problems using statistical, econometric, and machine learning techniques
• Develop and implement complex statistical and machine learning models, refining them based on performance and business feedback
• Create model outputs and visualizations to communicate analytical results and business value to stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 5 years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience in data science, statistics, econometrics, or quantitative analysis
• Strong experience with statistical and data science principles, including A/B testing and model validation
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with hybrid databases and developing data ETL processes
