Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading AI/ML initiatives in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Data Scientist will manage end-to-end projects that enhance student engagement and retention through predictive modeling and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML initiatives from scoping to implementation, driving measurable business outcomes
• Build and deploy predictive models to support proactive student outreach and monitor their performance in production
• Design and execute A/B testing programs to assess model-driven impacts on retention and engagement

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in applied machine learning or data science, preferably in education or consumer tech
• Strong background in predictive analytics and experimentation methodologies
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in ML libraries such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow
• Experience with MLOps frameworks like Databricks and MLFlow
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or statistics
