Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To drive customer engagement and business value, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will independently manage complex AI/ML model development and implementation projects, contributing to personalization initiatives within the Commercial Data Science team at a corporate home office setting.

Key responsibilities

• Independently contribute to multiple complex Data Science projects with minimal supervision
• Develop predictive and statistical models, including hyper-parameter tuning, scaling, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify data requirements and perform data collection, mining, and feature engineering

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field preferred
• 5+ years of prior relevant experience in data science or a related field
• Proven experience in developing minimum viable products under tight timelines
• Experience in an agile, sprint-based approach
• Background in hospitality, retail, or customer-service oriented industries preferred
